Although I am not originally from here, I have called Texas my home since 1993. My family has lived in Round Rock since 1997. I have been married for 20+ years and we have a tall handsome son and two beautiful daughters. In March 2008, we gained a wonderful daughter-in-law. All of our kids graduated from McNeil High School and two were swimmers on the local Brushy Creek Marlins and McNeil HS swim teams. I have worked at BCVC since February 1998 and enjoy working with clients and their pets. This year, I have been learning the duties of a technician and enjoy the medical side of the business, but spend much of my time with the "paperwork" side. When not at work, I spend much of my time with my family, our pets, reading and various church activities.
I have lived in Texas my entire life. My husband and I bought our first home in Hutto in 2005. We enjoy our two small dogs, Penny and Scooter, and our two cats Tigger and Lula. We are expecting our first baby December 2008 and have recently found out it is going to be a little girl. We are very excited and cannot wait to meet her! Being a technician for 8+ years has taught me a lot and I look forward to seeing what the next day will bring.
My wife and I moved from Washington state to Texas in 2005. We have two cats, Barney and Maggie, and one dog, Bart. I have always had a great passion for working with animals and BCVC gives me that opportunity to do so. Everyday is a new day to learn something interesting and new in the field of Veterinary medicine.
Although not originally from Texas we consider it home. We lived in Arkansas for almost 10 years while my husband of 18 years served his country at Little Rock Airforce Base. We have two teenage children, two cats and two dogs. I spent 12 years as a nurse and decided that I wanted a change of pace and work with animals. I haven't regretted the decision yet. I continue to learn new things every day. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and volunteering in my spare time with a local foster care agency.
I moved to Texas is 2006 from Arizona. I love it here so much. I am married and we have 5 pets. We have 2 dogs Kaila and Lillie and 3 cats Mimis, Freeda and Melvin. I started working at Brushy Creek Veterinary Clinic in January of 2008. I love animals so much so this is the best job.
I grew up as an Army brat, privileged to spend nine years of my childhood in Germany. My wonderful husband of 27 years also spent some time in Germany with the Army. We met and married in Colorado Springs and moved to Round Rock in 1986. We have 2 grown sons, Robert, who works with computers, and Chris will be attending college, majoring in Drama. My husband, Roland, enjoys his career with the Texas Toll Way System. My favorite people have 4 legs and 4 of them live at my home; 3 cats and a beautiful Golden Retriever. While I love dogs, I am definitely a "cat person". I have worked for BCVC since the fall of 2005, left briefly, and returned April 2008. I enjoy spending my free time with my family, serving in my church, reading, cross stitching, and singing with the Round Rock Community Choir.
I have been working part-time at the clinic since July 2006, and couldn't ask for a better environment to work in. I am also a full-time student at Austin Community College (insert this as a link: austincc.edu) working to complete my undergraduate studies before going to vet school. My whole life revolves around the zoo of animals I've collected at my home along with all the stray/homeless animals that seem to find me!
I was born and raised in Austin Texas. I've heard that's rare seeing as how Austin has attracted so many new people from all parts of the country. I have a 5 year old son named Gabriel who is my pride and joy. This year, we both started school. I went back to college and he started pre-k. In my free time I enjoy going to the park with Gabriel, throwing a BBQ with friends and family and reading. I love to sing and dance and I try to laugh everyday.
