Although I am not originally from here, I have called Texas my home since 1993. My family has lived in Round Rock for the past ten years. I have been married twenty+ years and we have a tall handsome son and two beautiful daughters. All of our kids have gone to McNeil HS and two have been past swimmers on the local Brushy Creek Marlins and McNeil HS swim teams. I have worked at BCVC since February 1998 and enjoy working with clients and their pets. I spend much of my time with the "paperwork" side of the business, but can get an occasional puppy or kitten snuggle in. If asked, I would say that I am a "cat person". I really connect more with cats and have a few close cats in my life. When I'm not at work, I spend much of my time with my family and various church activities. Something you may not know about me is that I was bit by a copperhead when I was eight years old. Not a fun experience.
I have lived in Texas my entire life. My husband and I have recently bought our first home in Hutto. We enjoy our new home along with our 2 small dogs, Penny and Scooter, and 3 cats, Tigger, Lula and Noche. Being a technician for over 5 + years has taught me a lot and I look forward to seeing what the next day will bring.
My wife and I moved from Washington state to Texas in 2005. We have two cats, Barney and Maggie, and one dog, Bart. I have always had a great passion for working with animals and BCVC gives me that opportunity to do so. Everyday is a new day to learn something interesting and new in the field of Veterinary medicine.
My husband and I were married in 1999 and became a blended family of 4 teenagers, 3 dogs and 2 cats. What I love most about my job is watching pet owners who are as much in love with their babies as I am with mine. In my spare time I like to swing at the park, hike, read and frequent garage sales. When not at work, I spend time with my family and various church activities.
I am a college student who is studying to eventually go to vet school. Working at the clinic has been such a wonderful learning opportunity. My childhood dog, Leo, passed away in August of 2006 and since then I have been accumulation a "zoo" at my home. My parents have been very patient as I have brought home feral/stray cats to take care of and adopt out or release again. Two kittens, Houdini and Socrates, stole my dad's heart and are now a part of the family. In addition, I have rescued Japanese Bobtail and a Border Collie/Shepherd mix pup.
